Also known as the NC500, it's a chance to see more of the North Highlands and it's natural scenery, from sandy beaches and rugged mountains to remote fishing villages, between Black Isle, Caithness, Sutherland and Wester Ross. Amongst the highlights you might spot dolphins and seals along the shire, or head to one of Easter Ross's three whisky distilleries!

It's estimated to take between five and seven days to drive the entire North Coast 500 loop, whilst also making time to enjoy the local scenery, culture, food, and activities. Along the way, there are some fantastic hotels, inns, B&Bs and restaurants-with-rooms to stay in, choosing from romantic retreats to family friendly hotels to truly make the most of this unique road trip.
