An former 18th-century palace on Lisbon’s bustling main avenue is now a stylish comtemporary boutique hotel, with interiors by the famous Portuguese designer Miguel Cancio Martins. There’s a sumptous lounge and bar in the lobby which has tiled walls, sofas, armchairs and small tables; a buffet breakfast is served here, and complimentary tea, coffee and port are available all day.
