Good Hotel Guide Review
They say on their website that this isn't your typical seaside hotel, and they're right. Overlooking the promenade, the seven-room hotel has an air of Victorian grandeur about it, with ornate public rooms filled with oil paintings and gilded mirrors. Upstairs, some of the suites have glorious sea views; each has a sitting room, a marble bathroom and a gas fire in a marble fireplace. Continental breakfasts are taken in the room. The hotel has been owned for more than 20 years by the Maddocks and Waddy families, Llandudno hoteliers who have been at the helm of neighbouring sister hotel The Empire since 1946. There’s a Modern British menu in the candlelit cafe; guests may also have a cooked breakfast, swim, work out and step into the sauna at The Empire.
