Behind the ornate stucco façade of a Victorian industrialist’s summer villa, Gaenor Loftus and Sam Nayar have created a very un-Victorian B&B with highly individual bedrooms that have plenty of personality. The sexy Boudoir, in shades of aubergine, black and gold, has crystal-encrusted LED wallpaper; Contemporary Deco has an in-room copper bath. The Loft has a wall-mounted fireplace, steps up to a bed, a shower room with body dryer. All have smart toiletries and high-tech gizmos. 'An unusual, stylish and idiosyncratically designed place,' say our inspectors. After a full Welsh or veggie breakfast you can board the tramway yards from the door to ride up the Great Orme – as the Kashmiri goats make their way into town.
