Good Hotel Guide Review
There’s a Balearics vibe to this youthful hotel with its outdoor spa, lakeside heated sand beach, beach bar and sunken lounge – all just a short hop from Belfast International Airport. It was launched in summer 2021 after a multimillion-pound-makeover. The smallest rooms are ‘snug’ as advertised. The best – dog friendly and styled ‘comfy’ – have a courtyard, outdoor bathtub and wood burner. Two balconied ‘luxe’ rooms have a free-standing bath and rainforest shower. Scandi-inspired design features faded Persian rugs on wooden floorboards, cane bedheads. All rooms have a coffee machine. Dine à la carte in the restaurant on pasta, pizzas, burgers, scampi, chargrills. A vegan menu aims far higher than mere rabbit food.
