Good Hotel Guide Review
Although they have backgrounds in finance and marketing, owners Mujtaba and Amelia Rana must have their hearts in hospitality and design. They spent three years transforming a disused textile warehouse in the Northern Quarter into this fun, affordable, hip hotel. Industrial-chic interiors feature brick, beams, factory doors, metal stairways, pipes and pulleys. High-tech bedrooms have a hand-built bed incorporating railway sleepers, bathrooms a bronze rainfall shower. Travels in Asia inspired the slatted shutters, the ceiling fans and greenery in the glamorous bar, where complimentary Prosecco and nibbles await, while the signature scent of sandalwood wafts around. Your continental breakfast is delivered in a bag.
