Minutes from Beverley centre, the home is full of antiques, books and curios set against shuttered windows, polished-wood floors and marble fireplaces. ‘It is impossible to fault our stay,' say readers. 'It was an even better experience than previously,' wrote a reader on a return visit as part of a group of six walking the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The well-upholstered feel, with plump chairs, pictures and Victorian rugs, continues in the bedrooms. One has a rocking horse, another overlooks the walled garden. Bathrooms are spacious and traditional.
