Good Hotel Guide Review
With spectacular views to St Michael’s Mount, this former coaching inn is a relaxed, good-value, family-run hotel with public bar and restaurant moments from the great sweep of Mount’s Bay. Bedrooms are light and bright, with a coastal palette. A sea-view family suite has a private bathroom, a super-king-size bed, a separate bunk room for the kids. You can order a Cornish cream tea by the log-burner in a blue-painted lounge. All is shipshape in the Cutty Sark bar and restaurant, serving locally sourced pub classics and imaginative vegan dishes, while historic interest is provided by salvaged panels from the captain’s cabin of HMS Warspite, a battleship that ran ashore in 1947.
