Good Hotel Guide Review
Travellers have been enjoying the traditional comforts of this coaching inn, on the Causeway Coastal Route, since the 17th century, and still feel revived by its robust food, convivial bar, cosy nooks and spacious bedrooms. Some rooms have river views, others exposed beams while all have space for armchairs or a sofa, and spoil with bathrobes, slippers and a dressing area. Dine on modern dishes in the garden-facing restaurant – on the patio if warm – or hunker down in the Gas Bar, still lit by Victorian gas light, for simpler pub food; on Saturdays there is live music. The world’s oldest distillery is a short stroll away, and you're within easy reach of The Giant's Causeway.
