Good Hotel Guide Review
Robert Walshe and Richard Robinson have created ‘something very special’ at their adults-only B&B in a Victorian hillside house in woodland, overlooking Exmoor’s rugged coast. They have ‘an unwavering vision of the level of excellence they want to achieve’, writes a reader, full of praise. Romantic bedrooms have antique and contemporary furniture, designer wallpaper, crisp linen, ground coffee, fresh milk, Noble Isle toiletries, ‘helpful tech amenities’, and sea views. ‘Welcoming and comfortable public areas’ are adorned with art and sculptures collected on the owners’ world travels. New arrivals are greeted with a cream tea, while a ‘delicious breakfast’ is served in the orangery, overlooking the Bristol Channel. (Ken McCord)
