Good Hotel Guide Review
Originally an apartment building dating from 1913-1914, the Alma became a hotel in 1978 and still retains Art Nouveau touches. It’s set on a small, quiet street in downtown Vienna, a minutes’ walk from Schwedenplatz underground station. Some rooms have whirlpool tubs and the best are those that overlook the street; there are also two suites which offer access to the rooftop terrace with panoramic views (which is open to all guests). Free tea and coffee are available from reception, and breakfast in a basement dining room offers the usual buffet selection, plus newspapers.
