Run by its friendly new owner, Christine Gmachl, this B&B hotel is a converted 14th-century Burgerhaus in an ‘outstanding’ location, in the middle of the old town and near the Mozartplatz. ‘Staff are efficient; bedrooms are simple but pleasant,’ say recent visitors. The rooms have minibars and TVs. The breakfast room and reception areas were refurbished in 2010. ‘Good breakfast. Highly recommended.’ Guests with a car should get advance instructions about parking.
