‘Small and personal, with attentive staff’, this B&B hotel is in a quiet street in St-Germain-des-Prés: ‘A lovely location, close to shops and the local market,’ says a visitor. Bedrooms, all different, vary in size; standard rooms are small, and most rooms have showers only. All are elegantly furnished with modern bathrooms and good lighting, and are well insulated from street noise when the windows are closed. There is a ‘beautiful’ sitting room and business corner. The buffet breakfast includes salmon, cheese, eggs and even sausages, beans and bacon. As an added bonus, international calls are free, and an i-pad is available for guests’ use. The only drawback: ‘The lift is up one flight of stairs from Reception.’
