This ‘welcoming’ boutique hotel, managed by owners Jed and Amanda Filmer, is built in Andalusian style with a central courtyard and fountain, old oak beams and old monastery doors. It is located in a seaside village of whitewashed houses, 50 minutes drive east of Málaga. Bedrooms are all individually designed, and the public areas are stylish. There’s a salon, a piano bar, and an ‘enjoyable’ restaurant with Italian-influenced fare. Terraces overlook the lovely Mediterranean bay and the beach is five minutes walk away.
