The Pucic Palace hotel sits in the peaceful Gundulic Square at the centre of the Old Town in Dubrovnik. Once a noble home, this 17th century Baroque palace now houses 19 rooms, all elegantly furnished with antiques and retaining authentic high beamed wooden ceilings and parquet flooring. Suites offer balconies overlooking the square or in-room whirlpool tubs, and two interconnecting rooms are perfect for families. Of particular note are the bathrooms, which have large windows and walls covered in beautiful Romanesque Italian mosaic tiles. In addition, the hotel manages two apartments with kitchens and two en suite rooms in a building close by. The hotel has a cafe and a terrace restaurant Defne, which offers Mediterranean and international cuisine. There is also a wine bar.
