Good Hotel Guide Review
Casa Camper is set in a 19th century Gothic tenement building in the heart of Barcelona, close to the famous La Boqueria market and a five minute walk from Plaça de Catalunya. Rooms are minimalist yet stylish, and are equipped with king size beds, walk in shower rooms, sofas, hammocks and work desks. Some look out onto a vertical hanging garden and have street-facing balconies, and others look out onto the old city district. The room rate includes a full continental buffet breakfast and a 24-hour buffet offering sandwiches, salads, drinks etc. In line with the hotel’s green philosophy, shower and bath water used in the hotel is recycled for the toilets, lowering consumption by up to 50%, and solar energy is used to heat the water. The hotel’s restaurant, Dos Palillos, has ex-El Bulli chef Albert Raurich at the helm, and offers Asian-influenced tapas.
