Good Hotel Guide Review
Owned by Mme Descaillot and Mme Etievant, this 17th-century post house has been nicely converted into a B&B, and has recently been renovated. It stands on a pretty square a short walk from the historic centre. ‘A very good place,’ one couple wrote. ‘We were greeted warmly. Our room was clean and comfortable.’ Most rooms are large, some have exposed beams. Flower paintings hang on walls. The best rooms face a quiet courtyard with hanging flower baskets. Rooms that face the road are triple glazed. The breakfast, in a ‘charming beamed room’ (with fresh flowers and a huge fireplace), includes boiled ham, smoked salmon, cheese, cereals, freshly-squeezed orange juice. The enclosed parking is appreciated. Next door is a Michelin-starred restaurant, Stéphane Derbord.
