This hip art hotel is centrally located in historic downtown Budapest, just 50 metres from the Danube and a few steps from the city’s main pedestrian thoroughfare, Vaci Street. Set in a late 17th century building that once housed a stationery factory, the hotel also serves as an art gallery, with a selection of modern Hungarian art on display in the public areas as well as the rooms. The individually-decorated rooms and suites have different themes, such as the “Sweetheart” in romantic pink and red, the “Art & History” suites, with arched ceilings and very modern decor, and the “Bohem Hip Suites”, which have sofabeds and are perfect for families. Rooms are soundproofed, and the hotel also offers a happy hour with free tea, coffee and snacks. A breakfast buffet is included in the room rate.
