Standing on a private peninsula, this luxury hotel looks over wide beaches and a reef-protected lagoon. Its rooms and, suites are in brightly coloured Creole-style ‘gingerbread’ cottages, in gardens filled with bougainvillea, hibiscus and palms. They have a large private terrace and a garden: many suites have a private pool. Diving excursions and kite surfing can be organised, and there are programs for children, who are welcomed. The two alfresco restaurants Indigo and Bartolomeo, serve Mediterranean-style food reflecting the island’s French heritage. Indigo on the Beach and the beach bar serve light fare and cocktails, Guests can go on a deep-sea fishing expedition to catch their dinner.
