In a Grade II-listed grey stone building, a Georgian coaching inn that still maintains a welcoming hospitality that began in 1812. Comfortable bedrooms have been revamped in tones of pink, blue or cream with botanical watercolours on the walls. There’s a choice of dining in the more traditional areas downstairs – the Garden Room restaurant for seasonal Welsh menus, or more informally in the snug or bar. The terrace and lovely walled garden has tables and seating for sunny days.
