Good Hotel Guide Review
In a pretty village between Nîmes and Montpellier is this renovated, creeper-covered, old farmhouse, run by Alain Foubert. All the air-conditioned bedrooms face the central courtyard or a garden: some are small. The ‘sheer cosiness’ and good value are praised. The excellent dinners, cooked by Suzane Baret, are served in the ‘delightful small dining room’ with its large fireplace, or in the courtyard in summer. There are two set menus, at €20 and €30, and a carte. Regional wines dominate the short list. The restaurant is closed on Sundays, but the hotel recommends four places nearby.
