Good Hotel Guide Review
Dating from 1860, this villa turned boutique B&B is an ideal choice for those arriving on a late flight due to its close proximity to the airport (a mere seven minutes’ drive away). Despite this, it’s a tranquil retreat in a pretty residential suburb, close to Den Blå Planet aquarium and an old harbour, and there’s a metro stop a couple of blocks away that takes you into Copenhagen city in about 12 minutes (and the metro runs 24 hours a day). The rooms are on the small side but adequate, with en suite bathrooms and tea and coffeemaking facilities, and some have balconies. There’s also a self-catering apartment for 4 people. Owner Tina Buehl is always on hand to make guests welcome and offer restaurant suggestions, and an organic breakfast with your choice of cooked eggs is served in a pretty dining area in the morning. There’s conference space for small groups, too.
